Cake is the product of a braintwiz of an unemployed art student living in glasgow who's flat burned down shortly after. This student was spending his idle hours in an empty four bedroom flat in Glasgow working on a comic version of an old story and wanted to put together a comic with a few different people. Eventually other than comic works he began inviting other art forms like drawings, prose, critical writing and the like.

After a few months the first issue was compiled and printed with funding from Limousine Bull in Aberdeenand launched with an exhibition featuring works by the contributing artists. Issue two appeared shortly after and then there was a gap of a few months and a third issue, produced by Justin Orde then nothing.

But now......

Its coming back.

Hello! Please feel free to comment. However I've been getting an awful lot of spam on these pages, some which make no sense at all, and others that may do. In order for me to tell if you are a genuine interested party with something to say, and not just a computer programme from the depths of the internet, please stick a name in the box rather than 'Anonymous.' Doesn't even have to be a real name if you would rather stay incognito, but please avoid 'Anonymous.' Ta!
